Literacy Night at St. Fabian Catholic School – Farmington Hills

Gail participated in Literacy Night at St. Fabian Catholic School, where she held three engaging story times in a cozy classroom setting. Children arrived in pajamas for the evening event, adding to the fun and relaxed atmosphere. Some wiggly listeners kept things lively, while others sat wide-eyed, absorbing every word of How Happy Is a Lark?

Gail also shared postcards featuring both Lark and her upcoming book Into the Thicket, signed copies for families, and offered encouragement to aspiring writers in attendance. As always, she brought warmth, humor, and heartfelt storytelling to the event—reminding us that even the smallest moments of connection can have a big impact.
